Photography is not something I stumbled onto or discovered once my child was born. It is a lifelong passion and skill that has been carefully crafted with years of experience.
My education started at Oakland Community College. Having exhausted all of the options available to me there, I transferred to the College of Creative Studies where I earned my BFA in Fine Arts Photography.
I have interned for and assisted noted photographers in the fields of portrait, wedding, architectural, automotive and product photography. Each one taught me something that I can apply every day to my own work. I have worked as a makeup artist, wardrobe and prop stylist, production coordinator, professional driver and pet wrangler. This has given me a unique eye for detail and the necessary experience to handle pets. I’ve applied these skills over the past decade while successfully owning and operating my own portrait studio where my
clients always come first.
The art of photography is constantly evolving. I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with the latest changes in tools and equipment and growing right along with it. I love that it never gets old and predictable. I have never regretted my choice of becoming a photographer. l love my job!
